Today the guys finished the first coat of texture and started on the second coat. It was so good to have the red wall disappear from the living room. Now the fireplace takes center stage instead of the wall. I think this is better picture of the fireplace than the last one I posted. The strange mauve strip on the ceiling is plaster coving and will not stay like that! We had good friends take a tour tonight. Everyone is so excited about this amazing house. Preliminary kitchen plans coming on Monday! Things are a changin' !!
